SHARJAH CHILDREN'S READING FESTIVAL

The Sharjah Children's Reading Festival took place from the 11th of May to 22nd of May 2022. 

It was more than a festival - it was a celebration that went beyond one age group, enriching the whole family whilst instilling a love of reading in the youngest of children. We are delighted that Lorato Trok, author of Rosina Sedibane Modiba - A Dream Denied, was invited to attend the festival. Her book has also been selected by the African Chapter of the UN Sustainable Development Goals Book Club for its focus on Gender Equality.
