Refund policy
REFUND & RETURN POLICY
1. Returns eligibility
We accept returns only if:
- the item is damaged or defective
- the wrong item was sent
We do not accept returns for:
- change of mind
- used or opened items
- Items damaged to neglect by the customer
2. Return timeframe
You must request a return within 7–14 days of receiving your order.
3. How to request a return
Email: orders@newafricabooks.co.za with:
- order number
- description of issue
- photos (if damaged or incorrect item)
4. Refunds
If approved:
- refunds are issued to original payment method
- processing may take 5–10 working days
5. Exchanges
Where possible, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund.
6. Shipping costs for returns
- If the error is ours: we cover return shipping
- If not: customer covers return shipping
7. Non-refundable items
We do not refund:
- items damaged due to misuse
